Come be a part of our swim club family.  We are currently accepting bondholder applications - be sure to read the many benefits of becoming a bondholder.  We are accepting a limited number of annual memberships as well.

Bills went out already for the December 1st deposit [$100] due on Bondholder Memberships.  Remember, late fees of $50 are incurred for every 30 days past due.  Don’t get strapped with hefty fines, pay on time! Communicate with the Board via email if you are struggling to make payments on your membership.

Remember, any Bondholder wishing to withdraw from the Club must submit, in writing to the pool’s address, their intention of such a withdraw. This must be received by December 31, 2008  to release any Bondholder from their obligation of membership fees for the 2009 season.  No exceptions!

Our Yearly Bondholder Meeting is scheduled for November 12, 2008 at 7pm at OBL’s library. Please RSVP by email if you can attend. The Proposed Budget for 2009 was sent out with the mailing notice for this meeting. We will discuss finances relating to the budget as well as discuss management plans for the 2009 season. Come with questions, concerns and/or suggestions!

Reminder: Annual Members can return their pool tags on Sunday August 31st from 1-4pm. A Board Member will be available to issue refunds at that time only. If you cannot make this day/time please make arrangements as this is the ONLY date this will be done. Thank you.

Tips on Avoiding Crypto

The thought of crypto doesn’t have to ruin your pool plans. Check out the tips below to learn how you can protect yourself.

• Avoid swallowing pool water or getting it into your mouth
•  Do not swim if you have diarrhea 
•  Take a thorough cleansing shower with soap before swimming 
•  Wash your hands after using the toilet or changing diapers 
•  Take children on frequent bathroom breaks or check diapers often 
•  Change diapers in a bathroom, not at poolside, and thoroughly clean diaper-changing area

It’s time again for our annual gathering! The board has organized a fun picnic for our Bondholders Only, on Saturday August 2nd from 2-8pm with activities planned from 3-7pm. We are still waiting on confirmation about a dunk tank….yes, you heard that right: a dunk tank! This is intended for lifeguards, but you can chose someone of your liking as well!  Other items include a mini golf course and an inflatable bounce for the kids. Music will be available as well.  Sandwich trays will be provided and we are asking all bondholders to bring sides to share. Either email the Club or sign up at the pool, we need a head count to know how many sandwiche trays to order. Also, this is a ‘bring your own drink’ party [no alcohol, unfortunately]!

Effective Immediately! Stiff fines will be imposed for anyone causing contaminations of our pool waters resulting in the closing of our facilities. Parents are responsible for their children and Members are responsible for their guests. No exceptions! A $200 fine will be issued for fecal/vomit contamination of our pool. Failure to pay the fine will result in immediate loss of memberships and/or revocation of bonds. No one appreciates the closing of the Club due to someone’s accident, be responsible!

Parents must be vigilant with the needs of their children and potty them at Adult Swims. Any child struggling in the water and choking MUST be removed from the pool waters immediately to recover, not placed on the side of the pool or left in parents’ arms while in the water. Ingesting of pool water leads to vomiting; REMOVE the child from the water to recover. Simple accidents impact many.

 BONDHOLDER ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Bondholders! We have our Annual Ice Cream Social coming up on Friday July 4th! Ice cream will be provided, sign up for the toppings you will be bringing. A list is at the check in desk. Come out for another fun year of socializing and indulging in yumming goodness! We are making summer memories at Club Brennan!  

Just a reminder that Swim Team has a home meet on Wednesday June 25st. The pool will close to members at 5pm. Good Luck to our Swimmers! GO BARRACUDAS!
